Duolingo's mission is to make language learning a daily habit for 16-22 year olds. We know it takes 21 days to form a habit, and that 62% of people are more likely to stick to a new habit if they partner up with someone to start. To grab attention of our Gen Z audience in a buzz worthy way, we’ve teamed up with Tiktok, a platform with over 600 million monthly Get Z users, and utilised their ‘duet’ feature to allow our users to work in pairs to help them form their new habit.
#DuoTheLingo is a 21-day campaign which harnesses collaboration and the power of two, with the aim to start a habit and kickstart people's language learning journey. By creating interactive, engaging and educational challenges, we allow our users to put their new skills to the test with a friend, and get people talking about Duolingo.
